Plans
What's included in a plan?
Every plan covers one computer and includes monthly remote tech support, Webroot antivirus, cloud backup, monitoring, patching and priority service. Home includes 1 hour of remote support each month and 50 GB of cloud backup; Business includes 2 hours and 100 GB; Ultimate includes 4 hours and 250 GB.
Is the price per computer?
Yes. Each plan covers one computer, and every price on this site is per computer. To cover more, add computers when you order: the total is the price per computer times the number of computers.
Which plan should I choose?
Home is for a home computer that needs occasional help. Business is for work computers: it includes 2 hours of help a month and a lower rate for extra time. Ultimate includes 4 hours, the lowest rate for extra time and the most backup space. Not sure? Talk to a person and WeldonPC will recommend a plan for your needs.
What if I need more help than my included hours?
You pay for the extra time by the hour: $79.95 per extra hour on Home, $49.95 on Business and $29.95 on Ultimate.
Do unused hours carry over to the next month?
No. The included hours are for that month, and unused hours don't carry over.
What isn't included?
Parts and on-site visits aren't included in any plan. WeldonPC offers in-store repairs and on-site visits separately. An on-site visit has a $135 dispatch fee, which covers the visit and the first hour of round-trip travel from Garfield Heights, Ohio.
How quickly will my problem be worked on?
WeldonPC publishes a turnaround for each plan: “8 Business Hour Turnaround on Most Calls” on Home, “6 Business Hour Turnaround on Most Calls” on Business and “4 Business Hour Turnaround on Most Calls” on Ultimate. That describes most calls, in business hours. It is not a promise for every call.
Can I cover more than 25 computers?
Yes, but not online. An online order covers 1 to 25 computers. For more, talk to a person.
Can I get just antivirus or just a backup, without a plan?
Yes. Antivirus Only is $9.99 a month per computer, Cloud Backup is $9.95 a month per computer and Cloud Storage is $9.95 a month per computer. No plan is required. They are listed on the plans page.
Can I put different computers on different plans?
Yes. Place one order for each plan. For example, one order for the office computers on Business and a second order for the front-desk computer on Ultimate.
Billing
Monthly or yearly: which costs less?
It depends on the plan. On Business, yearly is $300 a year per computer, which is 17% less than twelve monthly payments. On Ultimate, yearly is $480 a year per computer, 20% less. On Home, monthly costs less: yearly is $250 a year per computer, which is $10 more than twelve payments of $20 a month per computer.
On the Home plan, should I pay monthly or yearly?
Monthly costs less on Home. Twelve monthly payments come to $240 per computer, and the yearly price is $250 per computer. Choose yearly only if you prefer one payment a year.
How much less is the Business plan if I pay yearly?
17% less. Yearly is $300 a year per computer, compared with $360 per computer for twelve monthly payments.
How much less is the Ultimate plan if I pay yearly?
20% less. Yearly is $480 a year per computer, compared with $600 per computer for twelve monthly payments.
How do I pay?
Yearly plans are paid once on PayPal. PayPal handles the payment, and this site never sees your card or bank details. Monthly plans are not charged on this site: WeldonPC emails you an invoice each month. WeldonPC accepts major credit cards and PayPal, and its invoices can be paid online in the WeldonPC customer portal.
Does a yearly plan renew automatically?
No. A yearly plan paid on this site covers one year and does not renew by itself. When the year is up, WeldonPC sends a renewal invoice. You don't have to pay it if you want to stop.
Do you charge sales tax?
No. No sales tax line is added to plan fees. If that ever changes, it will be shown before you pay.
How do I cancel?
Any time, in whichever way is easiest: press “Request cancellation” on your order page (the link is in your receipt email), call 888-7-WELDON, or email info@weldonpc.com. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the month or year you've already paid for or been invoiced for, and after that you get no further invoices.
Can I get a refund?
No. Payments for services aren't refunded. The exception is that if WeldonPC cancels an order you've already paid for, it refunds that order in full.
Can I buy a plan for a parent or someone else?
Yes. On the order, enter the name and phone number of the person WeldonPC should call, and the address where the computer is. Use an email address you can check, because the receipt is sent there.
Getting help
How do I get help when something goes wrong?
Call 888-7-WELDON (888-793-5366), Monday to Friday, 12 PM to 8 PM Eastern time. WeldonPC gives you a session code, you run its support tool and enter the code, and a technician connects to your computer and works on the problem.
What are your hours?
Monday to Friday, 12 PM to 8 PM Eastern time. WeldonPC is closed on weekends and major holidays.
What do I need for a remote session?
A Windows 10 or Windows 11 computer that can get online, and a phone. WeldonPC's support tool needs an active phone call with a WeldonPC technician.
Do you help with Macs, iPhones, Android phones or tablets?
Please talk to a person before you sign up. WeldonPC's remote support tool runs on Windows 10 and Windows 11, so this site doesn't promise remote help for a Mac, a phone or a tablet.
Will someone come to my home or office?
Not as part of a plan. WeldonPC offers on-site visits separately: the dispatch fee is $135, which covers the visit and the first hour of round-trip travel from Garfield Heights, Ohio. Book on WeldonPC.com.
Can you upgrade my computer to Windows 11 over a remote session?
No. WeldonPC does Windows 11 upgrades in its store only, where it can check the hardware and back up your files first. Call 216-475-6000 to schedule one, or read about in-store repairs and upgrades.
What happens after I sign up?
WeldonPC contacts you, using the phone number and email on your order, to set up your computer. From then on you call 888-7-WELDON whenever you need help.
Safety
Is remote support safe?
Yes, when you are the one who starts it. A session begins when you call WeldonPC and enter the session code the technician gives you. WeldonPC will never ask for payment, passwords or remote access through a pop-up.
Someone called and said they were from Microsoft. Was that you?
No. Microsoft doesn't call you, and neither does Apple. Hang up. No real warning asks you to call a phone number shown on your screen. If you already let someone connect, disconnect the computer from the internet and call WeldonPC at 888-7-WELDON. Our guide explains what to do about a scary pop-up.
Does this site see my card number?
No. PayPal handles the payment, and this site never sees your card or bank details.
Do you track me?
No. Content pages set no cookies, and we don't use analytics services or tracking cookies. Most content pages show one banner ad from adengine.us, WeldonPC's own ad network; it sets no cookies and does not follow you from site to site (how the ad works). The privacy policy lists what we do collect when you order or write to us.
