Privacy policy

We collect only what we need to take your order, answer your message and run the site. Content pages set no cookies. We don't use analytics services or tracking cookies, and we don't sell your information. Most content pages show one banner ad from WeldonPC's own ad network: see Advertising.

Who is responsible

Tech Support Bundle is a service of WeldonPC.com. WeldonPC, 5829 Turney Road, Garfield Heights, OH 44125, runs this site and provides the service.

What we collect, and why

When you order or request a plan

  • Your name, email address and phone number, so WeldonPC can contact you and set up your computer.
  • If you give them: a service address, and a note about what you need help with first.
  • The plan, billing choice, number of computers and the price.
  • How you found us: the page you arrived on, the website that linked to you, and any campaign tags in the link (for example utm_source). These travel in the form itself; we don't use a cookie for them.
  • For a PayPal payment: PayPal's transaction number and the email address of the PayPal account that paid. We never receive your card or bank details.

When you send a message (“Talk to a person”)

  • Your name, email address, optional phone number, the topic and your message, so WeldonPC can reply.

When you use the AI assistant

  • Your question is sent to our AI provider, OpenAI, to produce an answer. Nothing else about you is sent with it: no name, no email address, no IP address and no order details. Before it is sent, we remove email addresses, phone numbers, long numbers (such as card numbers) and anything typed after words like “password” or “code”.
  • Answers the AI wrote are marked “AI-generated”. They are general information and can be wrong.
  • We don't store the text of your questions or the answers. We keep only counts: the time, the size of the request, its cost and whether it was answered.
  • The conversation is kept in your browser tab while you use the page, and is gone when you close it.

On every visit

  • We count page views, order forms started and the words typed into the site search, without identifying you: the page or the search words and the day, nothing else.
  • Our web server keeps standard access logs, which include IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.
  • In our own database we never store your IP address as it is. Where we need to limit abuse (too many orders or messages from one connection), we store a scrambled, one-way version of it.

Cookies and browser storage

  • Content pages (home, plans, help pages, guides, FAQ and these policy pages) set no cookies.
  • Pages with a form you fill in (the contact form, the order review, payment and receipt pages, and the assistant) set one short-lived security cookie, __Host-tsb_csrf, that stops other websites from submitting the form in your name. It lasts up to 24 hours.
  • If you choose light or dark mode, your choice is saved in your browser (local storage), not in a cookie. Campaign tags from the link you arrived by are kept for the tab you have open (session storage) so the order form can include them.
  • There are no analytics services, social-media buttons or tracking cookies. The only thing pages load from another website is the banner ad from adengine.us, WeldonPC's own ad network, described under Advertising. It sets no cookies.

Who receives your information

  • WeldonPC staff, who set up and support your plan and answer your messages.
  • PayPal, when you pay for a yearly plan. PayPal collects your payment details under its own privacy policy.
  • adengine.us, WeldonPC's own ad network, receives the requests described under Advertising when a page shows the banner ad.
  • Our AI provider (OpenAI), only for assistant questions, and only the cleaned-up text described above. OpenAI handles that text under its own terms and privacy policy.

We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't share it for advertising. We may disclose it when the law requires.

Advertising

The home page, the plan pages, the help pages, the guides, the FAQ, How it works, Business and About show one banner ad below the page, labelled “Advertisement”. It comes from AdEngine (adengine.us), the small ad network run by WeldonPC, the company behind this site. For now the ads are for WeldonPC's own services. Pages where you order, pay, see your receipt, use the assistant, search, write to us or read these policies show no ad.

To show the ad, your browser loads a script from adengine.us, asks it for one banner, loads the banner image, and reports once that the page was viewed and once that the banner was shown. Like any website, adengine.us receives your IP address, your browser type and the address of this site with those requests.

  • No cookies, no profile. AdEngine sets no cookies, gives you no ID and does not track you from site to site.
  • How your IP address is used. adengine.us looks up the approximate city for your IP address in a location database kept on its own server (nothing is sent to anyone else), so that ads meant for one area are shown only there. It also uses the address to count each ad view or click only once and to leave out robots and WeldonPC's own office traffic. The address is not stored with the counts; the temporary entries made from it expire within six hours and are cleared from the server within two days.
  • What is kept. Daily totals only: page views for this site, and views and clicks for each ad. The adengine.us web server also keeps a standard access log (IP address, time, address requested, referring site, browser) for security; it is deleted on a rolling schedule.
  • Clicking an ad passes through adengine.us, which counts the click, and then opens the advertiser's site, which has its own privacy policy.
  • Nothing about you is sold or shared.

How long we keep it

  • Orders and messages: kept as WeldonPC's business records. Ask us if you want yours deleted.
  • Raw payment notifications from PayPal: 90 days.
  • Copies of emails we sent you: 90 days.
  • Assistant usage counts: 90 days.
  • Page-view counts: 400 days. Search-word counts: 90 days.
  • Abuse-prevention counters: 2 days.
  • Abandoned orders that were never sent: they stay in our order list without your contact details, because none were saved.

Email

We send email only about your order: a receipt or a “what happens next” message. We don't send marketing email. Messages come from noreply@techsupportbundle.com, which is not read; reply to info@weldonpc.com.

Your choices

To see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to cancel a plan, contact WeldonPC. We'll need enough detail to find your order, such as the order number (BNDL-…) and the email you used.

Children

This site is for adults. You must be 18 or older to order.
