Printer help

When a printer says it is offline or just won't print, WeldonPC can work through it with you, and can set a printer up so every computer on your network can use it. Start with the four quick checks below; they fix a lot of printer problems.

What WeldonPC does

  • Printer troubleshooting
  • Printer sharing on your network

Quick things to try first

  1. Check that the printer is turned on and has paper.
  2. Check the ink or toner levels.
  3. Restart the printer.
  4. Print a test page from the printer's own menu.

What your plan covers

If the printer still won't print from a covered computer, call 888-7-WELDON. In a remote session, within your included hours, a WeldonPC technician can check the computer's printer settings, clear stuck print jobs and reinstall the printer.

Sharing a printer

WeldonPC sets up printer sharing so the computers on your home or office network can all print to one printer. That is part of its network setup work.

Try it yourself first.

Questions.

My printer says it's offline. What should I check first?
Check that the printer is turned on and has paper, check the ink or toner levels, restart the printer, and try printing a test page from the printer's own menu. Our guide covers what to do when a printer says “offline”.
Can a printer problem be fixed remotely?
Often, when the problem is on the computer: the wrong printer selected, a stuck print job or a driver that needs reinstalling. A technician can't load paper or clear a jam for you, but can tell you what to look for.
